PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KERO) â (UPDATE 9 AM): Porterville Police said Marcelo Marron has been located.
According to PPD, Marron was involved in a minor traffic collision south of Pixley. He was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for a precautionary evaluation only.
He is in the care of medical personnel and family now.
The Porterville Police Department has issued a silver alert for a missing elderly man.
According to police, the family of Marcelo Marron reported he was last seen at his Porterville home on West Cheryll Avenue at nine Monday morning.

Porterville police are asking for the public s help finding a missing 68-year-old man.
Officials say Marcelo Marron left his home on Cheryll Avenue between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm on Monday.
Marron has been diagnosed with dementia.
He has brown eyes and is 5 6 and weighs about 140 pounds, officials say.
75-year-old man missing from Porterville home
KFSN Porterville police and Tulare County deputies are asking for the public s help to help find a missing 75-year-old man.
Jesus Tapia was last seen around 8 pm Saturday at his home near H Street and Putnam Avenue in Porterville.
This is the longest he has been away from home and been unaccounted for. He is described as 5 5 in height, 150 pounds in weight, with gray/black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, jeans, and brown boots.
He was reported missing once before in December 2020.

A man who Porterville Police say is a gang member and a women were eventually arrested in an incident that began as a traffic stop on Monday. The two were eventually arrested on Tuesday.
Jesse Torres, 29, who Porterville Police say is a gang member, and Frances Marie Vasquez, 30, were arrested.
At about 11:30 p.m. Monday, a Porterville Police Officer contacted Torres during a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Hockett Street for driving without headlights. A records check revealed Torres had warrants for his arrest, including a felony for PRCS violation.
As the officer was taking Torres into custody and handcuffing him, he began to fight and was able to break free with one handcuff on him after causing injury to the officer. Torres escaped custody and wasn t located.
