An iconic Canadian builder has seemingly resorted to theft after missing wood was found on its construction site in the Porcupine Plain area.
RCMP officers received a complaint that some wood fence posts had gone missing. The person who reported the theft had piled the posts on some property they planned to fence.
Given the price of and demand for wood, officers were prepared to track down those responsible for this crime of opportunity.
They found the posts before they found the culprits. They were at the site of a new build which was located at a nearby waterway.
