New Rule Will Mean Sudden-Death Home Runs if the Boise Hawks Tie
If a game is tied after nine innings this season, instead of playing into the 10th, the Boise Hawks will have to enter a fierce home run shoot-out to decide who wins.
No stress, right? It s hard enough to hit a home run during a regular at-bat, and now the pressure will really be on with the game on the line and a win or a loss potentially coming after one swing of the bat. This season, if a Boise Hawks game is tied after 9 innings, instead of extra innings a Knock-Out Rule will kick in, and both teams will be part of a sudden death home run duel.

The Boise Hawks are Hiring
These are some of the coolest summer jobs in the city! The Boise Hawks have announced a list of open positions for the 2021 season and are looking to start filling them immediately.
I worked as a social media intern for a summer collegiate baseball team back in Indiana one summer and it was one of my favorite experiences. I mean come on, what s better than going to a baseball game every day to go to work!
The start of the Hawks 96-game season is only a little over a month away. Of course, you won t be working all 96 games; just the home ones from May through September. The Hawk s first home game is May 26th in six-series-stretch with the Grand Junction Rockies.
Who's ready for some baseball? 20 additional games, with lots of weekends at home are just a few of the updates to the Billings Mustangs 2021 schedule.
