It almost felt normal. Unlike many award shows in the past year.the Grammy s seemed both SAFE in terms of Covid and most in-person with Trever Noah hosting a hybrid indoor/outdoor show with the performers in a cool, rountanda-like circular setting and then the actual awards given out in a socially-distanced outdoor set up outside the Stable Center in Los Angeles.
Really cool performances from Haim, Dua Lipa, Billie Ellish and her brother Finneas and big wins from Taylor Swift who grabbed Album of the Year. Beyoncé won four of the nine Grammy s she was nominated for, making her officially the most-awarded woman in Grammy History. Dua Lipa won Best Pop Vocal Album and Harry Styles won for Best Pop Solo Performance . Justin Bieber and Dan+Shay won for Best Country Duo/Group .
