MONROE COUNTY, Pa. At first glance, she looks like your typical four-month-old kitten, but not even one month ago, it was a question of whether she d make it through the night.

The show runs through Sunday at the West End fairgrounds just off Route 209 in Gilbert. Author: Amanda Eustice (WNEP) Updated: 5:42 PM EDT July 9, 2021
GILBERT, Pa. For over 20 years, David Kraft of Pocono Lake has been coming to the annual Pocono Old Tyme Tractor Show at the West End Fairgrounds in Gilbert, but when the show didn t happen last year, he was pretty upset. I was disappointed. I like to get together with my friends. We always have a picnic before this show starts on Thursday evening, but unfortunately, we didn t get together last year, so this is kind of like a reunion for all of us to get together, said Kraft.
RSVP Volunteers, Christine Baldwin of Saylorsburg, Charles Cahn of Stroudsburg, Curtis Hargash of Kunkletown, Brian Hennberry of Delaware Water Gap, and George Vagelakos of Middle Smithfield and Roy Wilbur of Pocono Lake provided weekly deliveries of frozen food to Monroe County seniors who regularly received their daily hot meal through senior center congregate meals, but due to COVID were unable to get those meals otherwise.
Team-working together with Director Megargle, Gretchen Peters Senior Center Supervisor, Senior Center Coordinator Mara Cruz and Health and Wellness Coordinator Laura Pride, RSVP was approached to see if any of our volunteers would be willing to make these weekly deliveries to consumers all over the county to ensure their nutritional needs and food security were being met.
