HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) A major crash blocked part of Beltway 8 Sunday morning near the Fort Bend Toll Road.
Houston Transtar video showed one vehicle came to a rest straddling the center barries between the eastbound and westbound lanes of the tollway. Another vehicle was resting on its roof in the middle of the road.
It happened around 10 a.m. between Rockwell Boulevard and Hillcroft Avenue.
Several lanes were blocked for hours in both directions, though most of the crash appeared to be in the eastbound lanes of the Beltway.
It wasn t immediately clear what led to the crash.

4-vehicle crash shuts down US-290 Northwest Freeway near 610 West Loop

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) A crash involving four vehicles forced the closure Saturday of several eastbound lanes of US-290.
It happened in the inbound lanes of the Northwest Freeway just before the 610 West Loop at Mangum Road.
It wasn t clear what exactly led to the crash or how many people were injured.

HUMBLE, Texas (KTRK) A motorcyclist died Sunday after crashing into a parked vehicle on an Humble feeder road, police said.
It happened around 9:40 a.m. in the 21000 block of Eastex Freeway just north of FM-1960 along the San Jacinto River bridge.
The motorcyclist was southbound on the feeder road when they crashed into a blue SUV, according to Houston police. The motorcyclist was then run over by another vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Houston Police Department s vehicular crimes investigators responded to the scene to look into what led to the crash.
The victim s identity wasn t immediately known, and there was no word on the status of others involved.

It happened some time before 7 a.m. on the overpass for FM-1488 and FM-1774 in Magnolia.
Anywhere from 10 to 17 vehicles were stuck on the overpass for more than an hour as crews worked to clear the crashes, according to ABC13 s Charly Edsitty, who was on the scene. Magnolia police initially counted 13 vehicles were involved.
There were no serious injuries reported.
