Fritidsområdet i Barmosen er blevet et populært sted for de støjende og støvende fritidsaktiviteter, der har svært ved at være andre steder.
På grund af den store popularitet er en ny lokalplan i øjeblikket i høring. En plan, der skal gøre det muligt at bruge endnu mere af området ved Mosegård til de støjende aktiviteter.
Lokalplanen er i høring frem til 20. august. Derfor undrer det også en beboer i nærheden af fritidsområdet, at kommunen tilsyneladende allerede er gået i gang med at gennemføre dele af lokalplanen.

The Black Isle Farmersâ Society Show held at Fortrose was favoured by fine weather and declared a great success.
The show of roots, grain and dairy produce was held in the Drill Hall. This show is always a good one for quality and Saturdayâs exhibition was, if anything, above the average in both numbers of entries and quality. Some specially fine samples of barley and oats were shown.
