Bishop McCort hosted a huge welcome back party Today for their future Crimson Crusher and new World Champion Bo Bassett
The parade began at the compound where Bassett trains and ended at his future high school Bishop McCort where the community gathered together to celebrate an astonishing achievement

Local Wrestler Headed to Budapest
One small town family went global Wednesday morning.
The Bassetts are traveling all the way from the Johnstown area to Budapest, Hungary for 14-year-old Bo Bassett to compete in the World Championship for wrestling.
“I’m feeling very excited. This has been a dream come true. Ever since I was 6 years old, I made the goal. I wanted to make a world team and be a world champion someday. Now, to finally be able to go out and have that opportunity, it’s a pretty awesome feeling,” Bo said.
The 14-year-old who will be heading into eighth grade at Bishop McCort is young for the competition, competing against 15 to 17 year olds.

What were you doing at the age of six years old? I was probably just learning how to swing a golf club in my back yard. Bo Bassett? He was winning a world championship! At a very young age Bo knew exactly what kind of athlete he wanted to be.
Now, at age 14, he wants another one.
Bo Basset an upcoming 8th grader at Bishop McCort, will travel to Budapest next week for the Cadet World Championships.
Basset will represent America on the world team for USA wrestling.
Even though he has 8 years of experiecne since his last world torunament, mom and dad still had to sign a permission slip for Bo to go.
