Less than a month after inviting bidders to work on a project to micro-surface a stretch on the Ballari Road between Windsor Manor Junction and
Hebbal Flyover, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has cancelled the bids. The
BBMP Traffic Engineering Cell had floated the tender to invite bidders for the micro-surfacing work on June 18, 2021. The work was estimated to cost Rs 17 crore and was expected to be completed in three months.The tender document stated that the funds were sanctioned in the state budget (2020-21) for an air quality improvement programme under the
