Livonia-based Masco Corp.’s corporate citizenship arm seeks to fulfill the company goal of making “everything we touch better.” The team is responsible for producing a sustainability report to bring attention to how the company is meeting its sustainability practices and outcomes. Masco has donated more than $2 million donated to housing nonprofits and more than $13 million donated to arts and culture organizations since 2015. The company has also donated almost $2 million through its employee Matching Gift Program since 2015. Masco had nearly 60 diversity, equity, and inclusion partners last year, including 12 Black-owned organizations and 11 women-owned organizations. The company engages employees in its charitable work as well. Recently, Masco World Headquarters employees held a virtual gathering to make blankets for children in Michigan hospitals through Farmington Hills nonprofit Fleece and Thank You.
