An Ottawa man is charged with three counts of mischief endangering life in an OPP investigation of incidents in which debris was found on Highway 17 between Pembroke and Renfrew.
The 22-year-old is the third person charged in the investigation.

Early on Jan. 8, police were called after three rocks, each slightly larger than a basketball, were found on the highway near Rox Siding Road. Several vehicles had minor damage after hitting the rocks, but no one was injured, police said.
OTTAWA Ontario Provincial Police say a second man has been charged in connection with their investigation into debris found strewn along Hwy. 17 in the Ottawa Valley. The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP and Renfrew County OPP have been investigating a number of incidents involving debris being placed on the highway between Pembroke and Renfrew this winter, including boulders, vehicle rims and water tanks. A second arrest was announced Monday. OPP said Braydon Pierce, 21, of Golden Lake, has been charged with three counts of mischief endangering life and one count of mischief under $5000. He was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on March 30 in Pembroke.
OTTAWA Ontario Provincial Police say a 21-year-old Ottawa Valley man is facing charges following an investigation into debris left on Highway 17 west of Ottawa. The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP and Renfrew County OPP have been investigation a number of recent incidents involving debris being placed on Hwy. 17 between Pembroke and Renfrew this winter. On Thursday, the OPP said the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP Crime Unit arrested an individual in connection with the case. Joshua Patrick Boyce, 21, of Bonnechere Valley Township is facing two counts of mischief endangering life, theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. The suspect is scheduled to appear in Pembroke court on Friday.
