+ March 10, 2021 SAN Carlos City Library donated books to far-flung schools Prosperidad and Codcod Elementary Schools (ES) in celebration of its 62nd Public Library Day Tuesday, March 9, 2021.
Prosperidad ES received 270 books of different kind, while Codcod ES also got 285. The said books consisted of novels (fiction), textbooks, encyclopedias and dictionaries. Magazines were also included and displayed at the school library.
Stella Fetiluna, librarian III of San Carlos City Library, said for this year’s celebration, they targeted schools in rural areas for the book donation since students from the highlands do not have much access to the city library because of distance.
