A CONSULTATION has been launched to find out how covid-19 has affected the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in Wrexham and Flintshire. The consultation, on Your Voice Wrexham, will inform the work of Wrexham and Flintshire’s Public Service Boards. A spokesman said: Public Service Boards are a partnership of organisations that help provide public services. They include the council, the health board, the fire and rescue service, Natural Resources Wales, the Police, The National Probation Service and Community Rehabilitation Company, Public Health Wales, Coleg Cambria, A.V.O.W, and Welsh Government. This consultation s aim is to find out how the Covid Pandemic has affected young people over this past year and what support is needed.

A Kenyan dentist succumbed to the coronavirus disease on Friday, a day after a union of doctors in Kenya signed an agreement with the government to end a strike launched on 21 December to demand better protection of frontline medical personnel.
The dentist, Andrew Njuguna, a member of the Kenya Dental Association, died of the complications caused by the virus on Friday.
The Kenyan Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPPDU) issued a strike notice on 16 November which it suspended for a few weeks before reinstating it on 21 December.
