The Coloradoan sent a 20-item questionnaire to all Fort Collins City Council candidates, seeking their viewpoints and policy ideas about a range of city issues.
The Fort Collins municipal election is April 6, and the City Clerk’s Office will send ballots in the mail by March 19. Check your voter registration here to make sure you get a ballot. Council members are elected by district, and the mayor is elected city-wide. Check which council district you live in here.

Northern Colorado Developer Donates Land to Fort Collins
One of the coolest things about Fort Collins is all the open space, parks and trails in the vicinity. It ll be fun to see how the city puts the 5 acres they were just granted to use.
This act of generosity came from a local developer by the name Byron Collins. The 5-acre piece of land is along the Power Trail and the east side of Southridge Golf Course.
“Generosity comes in many forms, and this donation of real estate is a permanent investment in our community, said Darin Atteberry, Fort Collins city manager. “Byron’s gift truly enhances the City’s ability to effectively steward our residents’ well-being and quality of life.”
