One of the main highway accesses to downtown Montreal, the Rue de la Montagne / Rue Saint-Jacques exit of Highway 720 eastbound, has been closed since Sunday evening and will remain closed until spring 2022.
Exit number 4, located at the entrance to the Ville-Marie tunnel, normally allows all drivers arriving in the city to quickly access Saint-Jacques, Saint-Antoine, de la Montagne, Peel, and Notre-Dame streets, among others.
