WESTPORT Mindi Bennivedse has one daughter and felt both of them have missed out over the last 15 months. Bennivedse says she did not get to send her only daughter, Faith, off to the junior prom or watch her get inducted into the National Honor Society.
Bennivedse isn’t the only parent that feels that way. She and Chari Swist Hurley are raising money and have booked June 16 at the Pearl in Taunton for a parent-run Westport High School senior prom.
Bennivedse and Hurley began planning earlier this year in case Westport Junior/Senior High decided to cancel this year’s prom, as it did last year.

DJ Self, Mario Winans and
Mark Curry – got on social media to announce the East Harlem native (real name Robert Ross) passed away in an Atlanta hospital. He was 51. Black Rob’s death comes a week after he was released from the hospital from suffering seizures. It’s reported he battled with kidney failure.
