JACKSON TWP McAlister s Deli, a national chain specializing in handcrafted sandwiches and premium sweet tea, is planning to locate in the former Ruby Tuesday site.
The commercial property at 5449 Dressler Road NW is near Chick-fil-A and in front of the Belden Park Crossings plaza that includes Fresh Thyme Market, Five Below and Value City Furniture.
McAlister s Deli tentatively plans to open at the site in November, said Madison Stevens, a public relations specialist for Focus Brands, the parent company of the restaurant chain.
Founded in 1989, McAlister s signature is a wide selection of handcrafted sandwiches, including the 13-layer club, four-cheese melt, harvest chicken, French Dip, Reuben, jalapeno turkey crunch, horseradish roast beef and cheddar and chicken avocado BLT.
