The company’s latest drone video takes viewers on a flight through the Bloomington mall and its indoor theme park, Nickelodeon Universe.
Chris Grap, lead storyteller and experience designer at the Mall of America, said that the viral bowling alley clip and the evident passion behind it inspired him to work with Rally Studios.
“I’m a huge fan of Bryant Lake Bowl, and the reasoning behind Rally Studios working with them showed who they are: honest, passionate, compassionate storytellers from our community,” Grap said. “They love Minnesota; they love Mall of America. (FOX 9) - A Minneapolis-based studio released their latest drone film project capturing footage of the Mall of America and its theme park, Nickelodeon Universe.
Rally Studios, known for its recent drone film at Bryant Lake Bowl, released the film Wednesday saying the creators wanted to bring in nostalgic storytelling from their days growing up in Minnesota and frequenting Mall of America, according to a news release from the MOA.

The video made to encourage people to return to bars, restaurants and bowling alleys, went viral quickly after it was produced by Rally Studios in March 2021.
According to
ABC News, the video begins outside where the drone swoops in from across the street and through the doors of Bryant Lake Bowl in Minneapolis.
“From there, the drone flies in and around bowlers in the lanes and drinkers at the bar, going in between legs and into the back compartment where the bowling pins are swept up and set up and all around all in one shot.”
