Dozens of tow truck drivers gathered in the parking lot of the Regal Evergreen Parkway cinemas in Hillsboro Saturday morning for the Enough is Enough tow truck procession.
Drivers were there to remember fallen tow truck driver Patrick Sanford. One month ago, the 51-year-old Sanford was shot and killed while on a towing job at the Park Creek Village Apartments in Hillsboro.
“It was a senseless way to go. That gentleman was just doing his job. Just doing his job,” said Jean Underwood of Beaverton Towing.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â The man investigators say was using social media to incite violence at the Florida Capitol on Inauguration Day returned to court Thursday for a virtual hearing.
In a preliminary hearing, three of Baker s friends testified on his behalf. Another wrote a letter advocating for the veteran.
During that hearing Baker s roommate Eric Champagne told the court that after the insurrection on the US Capitol on Jan. 6, he became consumed with what happened. The FBI issued a warning about this and he took the FBI warning seriously. He thought he was trying to protect his neighbors from violent people, said Champagne.

People who carry out child sexual abuse in schools often have reputations as perpetrators, with their behaviour frequently an open secret, according to a report by the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse in England and Wales.
Research based on the accounts of 691 victims and survivors also found that 42% of people who were sexually abused in the context of schools were aware of other victims in the same school.
The majority of perpetrators were male teachers or other educational staff, who often manipulated and groomed children, staff and parents in order to facilitate the sexual abuse. They often had good reputations with staff and parents or were seen as “cool” by pupils.
