Services for a Waverly man, 80 year old LTC Thomas Hicks, Retired, are Thursday at 10:30am at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly. Burial in St. Paul s Lutheran cemetery with military rites. Visitation is 5-7pm Wednesday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly and an hour before services.
Memorial services for a Manchester man, 83 year old Allen Remling, are Wednesday at 2pm at United Methodist church in Manchester. Inurnment in Oakland cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Leonard Muller funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
Servicers for a Manchester man, 63 year old Patrick Deutmeyer, are Thursday at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic church in Manchester. Private family inurnment at a later date in Sand Creek cemetery in rural Manchester. Visitation is 2-7pm Wednesday at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester, and from 9am to 10am Thursday at the funeral home.
age 78, of Hudson, WI, died on April 29th, 2021, at her home in Hudson. Mary was born on November 3rd, 1942, in St. Paul, MN to Charles and Rosa (Pollnow) Hutton. After graduating high school, she pursued her secretarial degree and soon after moved to Hudson, WI. Mary married Don and together they had two daughters. She proudly worked as a secretary for various Twin Cities companies, including 3M, while raising her family. She later co-owned and operated a company specializing in land development and did property management in and around the Hudson area. The simple pleasures in life brought Mary much joy. Nothing was better than indulging in a pizza from Carboneâs or a quiet afternoon of putting puzzles together. Mary would visit the Hudson Public Library to find her next read; one of her favorite past times. If she was feeling adventurous, she would spend the day at the casino with her friends or cousins. Every year right before spring break, St. Patrick School celebrates another prestigious event. This event is the St. Patrick School National Honor Society Induction ceremony. At this beautiful ceremony, we not only welcome our new members, but also celebrate our second- and third-year members. This year we inducted 14 new members and honored 25 returning members.
If one were to ask most people what the National Honor Society (NHS) is about, they would probably say NHS members are the students who wear the honor cords or stoles at graduation. They may mention an NHS member tutoring other students, or other service projects.
