This would give them more parking spaces and would allow for future development of the area.
CLOSED: Salisbury Conservative Club in Bury PLANS have been submitted to Bury Council to convert a Conservative Club into a carpet shop. The vacant Salisbury Club on Badger Street, Bury, was once a popular venue and function room but closed ahead of the Covid-19 lockdown with a number of visitors criticising its lack of drinks and dated decor. The application proposes a new shopfront with a roller shutter. The design and access statement reads: The application site is vacant and situated in a well-established area in need of this sort of business due to its location within a commercial area and close to residential areas and a high number of services and facilities.
