“From 0-18, I’ve seen this young man grow up,” Milwaukee men’s basketball coach Pat Baldwin tells WTMJ. “I’ve seen him pick up this game and do all the things that he’s been able to do. He’s just been a pleasure to be around. I love him to death. I’m more proud as a dad. And certainly as a coach, from that standpoint, you can’t be anymore happy.”
Baldwin Jr. was also Duke and Georgetown, but ultimately chose to stay home.
“This whole time, I just told him this is your decision,” added Baldwin.

 Patrick Baldwin Jr. has signed a National Letter of Intent with the Milwaukee menâs basketball team, head coach Pat Baldwin announced today.
Baldwin Jr., a 6-foot 10-inch forward, comes to Milwaukee after playing at Hamilton Sussex High School. He is a consensus five-star recruit and one of the highest-ranked players in the 2021 class.
âFirst of all, itâs a very emotional day for Patrick and for our family and we are extremely happy that he has finally come to a conclusion on his decision on where he wants to go to school,â Baldwin Sr. said. âI am extremely happy for him â he has waited for this moment ever since he could dribble a basketball.â
