ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser on Thursday asked the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training to discuss the proposals regarding the Intermediate students exams with the opposition lawmakers.
NA Speaker said he will personally coordinate a virtual meeting of the ministry and legislators to discuss the issues related to the Intermediate students exams.
The issue came to the House despite multiple statements from the federal government that the exams will be held on time and there will be no cancelation this time.

Israeli barbarity on innocent Palestinians against all human norms: NA Speaker
ISLAMABAD, May 17 (APP):Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser on Monday said Israeli barbarity and oppression on innocent Palestinians against all human norms.
While telephonically discussing the grave violations of basic human rights in Palestine with his counter part Speaker of Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Sentop, he also mentioned that martyrdom of innocent civilians including children and women demand immediate punitive actions against oppressive Israel, said a press release issued here.
He also stressed on the need of unanimity of Muslim countries to stop this aggression. Speaker Asad Qaiser also mentioned that letters regarding atrocities on innocent Palestinians and destruction of Gaza had been sent to all OIC member state.

Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser on Thursday said that peace in Afghanistan was imperative for regional economic development and connectivity.
He said that peace in Afghanistan would bring prosperity in Afghanistan and the region.
The Speaker said that Pakistan would stand firm with an indigenous Afghan owned peace process. He expressed these views while talking to Najeebullah Ali Khel, Ambassador of Afghanistan here.
During the meeting, Pak-Afghan relations and the political situation in the region and issues of mutual interest came under discussion. Asad Qaiser said that constructive engagement between parliamentarians and political leadership of both the countries had brought each other closer. He said that Pakistani and Afghan people were not only neighbours and brothers but also have strong historic linkages. Asad Qaiser said that he was looking forward to his visit to Kabul where he would meet his Afghan counterpart and Afghan leadership.
