FRAMINGHAM David Zamarin, founder of Framingham-based DetraPel, was named to the Class of 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
DetraPel Inc., a provider of safer chemicals and consumer products, switched much of its manufacturing capabilities with a pivot to sanitizing and disinfecting products at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Since the beginning of the outbreak, we invested heavily in state-of-the-art high-speed production lines that increased our capacity to 3 million+ units per month, Zamarin said in a statement. We are now well-positioned to reliably supply large retailers, some of which faced extreme product shortages over the past few months. With our infrastructure in place, we felt it was our obligation to make these essential products which are so critical to the health and safety of so many.”
