Long-service awards were presented at the end of the final meeting to people who had been with the Scouting movement for many years. Fifteen-year awards were presented to Molly Graham, John Graham, Ian Johnson, Bernard Parker, John Olliver and David Fisher. Mr Parker was also given a Thanks Badge for his work as secretary and treasurer. In February, 1995, it was bandages and splints at the ready when Barrow Scouts took part in a first-aid competition held at the British Red Cross headquarters in Warwick Street, Barrow.
