Like many Americans, I’m mystified by how so many evangelicals turned a blind eye to President Trump’s moral depravity and constant attacks on civility and democracy over the past four years.
About eight in 10 evangelicals again voted for Trump in 2020, and a faith adviser to the president expressed unequivocal support for him even after last week’s attack at the U.S. Capitol.
