CHESHIRE West and Chester Council leaders have added their tributes to former Councillor Brian Crowe, who sadly passed away on Monday, January 11. The Lord Mayor of Chester, Cllr Mark Williams said, “Brian was a true gentleman with a generous heart. He was elected to Chester City Council in October 1993 following a local by-election. He served on Chester City Council until Local Government Reorganisation in April 2009. “When I was elected to the office of Lord Mayor in May 2019, Brian was on hand to get me started with copies of some of his old speeches from when he was Lord Mayor in 2002/3.”
