Porter can floor his rivals in Stayers Hurdle

Porter can floor his rivals in Stayers’ Hurdle Gavin Cromwell won the Champion Hurdle and could win another championship race on Thursday. A LARGE field of 15 is set to line up for Thursday’s highlight, the Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle (3.05pm), where Paisley Park will bid to join the likes of Big Buck’s, Inglis Drever and Baracouda as dual winners of this race. Cheltenham betting: Barbados Buck s backed for Albert Bartlett glory

Barbados Buck s a fast improver Beaten on his hurdles bow in the autumn at Stratford (2m 6f, good) when he finished second to The Bull McCabe, Barbados Buck’s has won on all three starts since, including reversing form with Kim Bailey’s charge at Southwell over an extended three miles in November. The manner of that success under a confident Bryony Frost certainly screamed of an improving stayer and Barbados Buck’s had a couple of subsequent winners behind when defying a penalty back at the same course in December, this time in the hands of stable jockey Harry Cobden.
