DUI alleged
WILLIAMSPORT Brad Smith, 30, of Lock Haven, was charged with under the influence after a state trooper stopped his pickup truck near East Third Street and Westminster Drive at 1:45 a.m. on Sept. 20.
Police said Smith crossed the lane designator three times in a mile.
Smith admitted consuming a few beers at a local bar, police said.
Drug arrest
BELLEFONTE A drug arrest was made at Rutter’s convenience store in Bellefonte on March 8, state police at Rockview report.
According to police, state police officers observed two wanted individuals inside the convenience store. Police arrested Trever McMullen, 32, of Bellefonte for possession of methamphetamine and heroin.
Shasta County sheriff s deputies arrested two people Thursday that law enforcement had been looking for, including one who is considered an armed and dangerous felon.
Deputies went to a residence on Snowbird Lane in Lakehead shortly before 9 a.m. to serve a civil order on Lucas David Childs, 37, who is on parole and wanted in connection to weapons charges, sheriff s officials said.
Childs was not at the Snowbird Lane residence, however, so they checked out an RV on nearby Big Oak Lane, where Childs also was reportedly staying, officials said.
As deputies approached the trailer, they contacted Camren James Taylor, 25, of Anderson, who saw the deputies and began to run away. Officials said that Taylor stopped running after he heard the deputies order him to stop and K-9 Fritz start barking at him.
Drugs found in prison
BELLEFONTE An inmate at the Centre County Correctional Facility was found in possession of methamphatemine in his property on Dec. 26, 2020, state police at Rockview said.
It was found after an investigation that the inmate brought the drugs into the facility, police said.
Under the influence
HOWARD A 30-year-old Mill Hall man was suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance during a traffic stop along Jacksonville Road at its intersection with the Interstate 80 East on-ramp, state police at Rockview said.
Police were called to the stop on Jan. 10 by the PA Fish and Boat Commission when it was determined the suspect, name not listed, was under the influence, police said.
