Beulah man charged with murder heading to trial Colin Merry, cmerry@pioneergroup.com FacebookTwitterEmail A Beulah man facing an open murder will face a trial by jury starting July 21. File photo BEULAH A trial date has been set for a Beulah man accused of shooting another man through the front window of his own home.  Taylor Manol, charged with open murder, is scheduled for a jury trial starting at 9 a.m. on July 21 in Benzie County s 19th Circuit Court. The jury selection will be held first, followed by the trial. It is not known when the trial itself will begin, or how long it will last, according to Benzie County Prosecutor Sara Swanson.
