His family moved to Bardsey Island when he was 11 and his in depth knowledge of nature has helped him to capture the best of the island.
He now lives on the mainland near Mynydd Rhiw and works in conservation and photography.

MORRISTOWN The challenges of conducting education remotely featured in Thursday’s meeting of the Union Local School District Board of Education.
The board started the meeting with a moment of silence in honor or former Belmont mayor Stan Sobel, who died Tuesday. Sobel had been a past board member and had been a longtime science teacher at Union Local High School.
Once the meeting was underway, Superintendent Ben Porter said students and staff continue to cope with the remote learning during the surge of COVID-19 cases.
“It’s not perfect, but we have gotten a lot better than where we were in springtime with remote education,” he said, adding Union Local, like other school districts, prepared during summer for the current school year with the expectation that cases would increase during winter.
