The family of a missing Merritt cowboy, Ben Tyner, is now offering a reward of $30,000 for any information leading to his whereabouts.
Tyner, a Wyoming native who was manager of the Nicola Ranch, had only been in the Merritt area for three months before he vanished on Jan. 26, 2019.

The 32-year-old was last seen riding out of the ranch on horseback, possibly to search for cattle in the surrounding hills.
His riderless horse was discovered two days later, unscathed but without a saddle, wandering a logging road off Highway 97 near the Nicola Ranch.
