MACON, Ga. Dozens of motorcycle s lined up to pay respects on Saturday to a Bibb County fire investigator who died in April after being injured in a motorcycle accident.
The event was hosted by Iron Cross Motorcycle Club, and they invited the community to participate in the ride at $20 a bike.
The ride began at Harley-Davidson of Macon on Mercer University Drive, with the final stop at the Byron Fire Department, where kids and adults participated in different activities.
Gleaton s parents say the support means everything.

MACON, Ga. Macon-Bibb Fire is mourning the loss of one of their own. Macon-Bibb Fire and Arson Investigator Ben Gleaton died just before at 2 p.m. Tuesday from injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash on March 12.
Macon-Bibb Interim Fire Chief Shane Edwards says his relationship with Investigator Ben Gleaton goes back more than two decades. Years ago, I was promoted to lieutenant and I was assigned to Station No. 2, and that was my first station as lieutenant. One of the first people that I walked in the station and met with that morning was Ben Gleaton, says Edwards.
