GREEN BAY - Police violated a Milwaukee man s rights when they helped an inmate secretly record conversations with him without a lawyer s presence, an appeals court said in granting a new trial in a homicide case.
The court also agreed that the man s defense was ineffective because his lawyer didn t object to the recordings at trial.
Richard Arrington, 25, was convicted and sentenced to life in prison in 2018 for shooting and killing Ricardo Ricky Gomez, 25, on April 2, 2016. Gomez died from a gunshot wound outside a house on Day Street in Green Bay after Arrington tried to shoot another man on the porch.
Bubble tea, also called boba tea or pearl milk tea, is gradually making its way across the Green Bay area as its popularity surges. Originating from Taiwan, the beloved drink is named after the black, chewy tapioca pearls, or boba, that sit at the bottom.
You can drink bubble tea with an oversized straw to soak up the tapioca pearls. We admit a lack of objectivity on this topic: We think it s very fun to drink if you can find your favorite flavors of bubble tea.
The beverage can be both tea-based (tapioca pearls in a type of tea) or smoothie-based (tapioca pearls in smoothie.) Green Bay s tea spots serve a wide variety of both.
