COLONIE - A Middletown man who appeared to be stealing, or poised to steal, cooking oil from a restaurant s used oil storage tank early Thursday morning was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor offense, town police said.
At about 1:30 a.m., a Colonie police officer noticed the suspicious activity at the unnamed Wolf Road business and arrested the 34-year-old on a possession of burglar tools charge. The same man was also arrested by Colonie police in March for a similar crime that took place in September, police said.
