Published January 3, 2021, 3:34 PM Team Lakay donates rice to fellow Igorots on holiday season Members of the Team Lakay have launched a rice donation drive over the holiday season to fellow Igorots in Benguet. Team Lakay founder and coach Mark Sangiao led the project for different beneficiaries in Atok and Itogon, east of La Trinidad where the Central Gym is located. At least 10 sacks of rice were given to Bethesda Children’s Home in Itogon while Team Lakay conducted door-to-door donations on the mountains of Caliking, Atok for victims of strokes and residents of distant areas. In San Fernando, La Union, where another gym branch stands, Team Lakay also extended help to another orphanage called Christian Praise Fellowship.
