Warsaw Man Killed in Benton County Rollover
A Warsaw man was killed in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday evening in Benton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2011 Ford Fusion driven by 45-year-old George M. Cecil of Warsaw, was on Highway MM, east of Paradise Road at 7:08 p.m., when the vehicle exited the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned, ejecting the driver.
Cecil was pronounced dead at 7:40 p.m. by Benton County Coroner Weston Miller. Cecil was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a northbound vehicle, driven by George Cecil, exited the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch, overturned and ejected Cecil, who was not wearing a seat belt.
Cecil was pronounced deceased at the scene at 7:40 p.m. by Benton County Coroner Weston Miller.
The crash happened at 7:08 p.m. on Route MM, east of Paradise Drive.

A Deepwater man was killed in a three-vehicle accident that occurred Sunday afternoon in Benton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2009 Chrysler Town & Country, driven by 27-year-old Derrick R. Spain of Warsaw, was on Missouri 7, 839 feet south of Walking Horse Lane around 4 p.m., when the vehicle crossed the center line and struck a southbound 2012 Chevy Malibu, driven by 24-year-old Bailey C. Jelinek of Deepwater, head-on. After the impact, the two vehicles rotated and were struck by a southbound 2001 Dodge Ram 3500, driven by 63-year-old Alan C. Haverland of Deepwater.
