Founders Day at PASSAGE

Founders Day at PASSAGE The theme was “Driven With Purpose.” The guest speaker was Pastor Mark Vega, senior pastor of Ignite Life Center in Gainesville and founder of Mark Vega Evangelistic Ministries.  Vega praised Elder Dr. George Dix and his wife, Lady Michele Dix, senior pastors and co-founders of PASSAGE.  “Your pastor rocks!” Vega told parishioners. He said PASSAGE is the gate keeper. “This community loves you and your church,” Vega told Dix. “If I wasn’t a pastor, I would be a member of this church.” The Passage Sanctuary Praise Team performed inspiring songs and liturgical dances. Testimony about how PASSAGE has changed their lives were told by  Nancy Brown, a former Passage of the church, and Minister Daniel Livingston of PASSAGE.

PASSAGE Family Church hosted Christmas in the Park at Oak Tree Academy located at 1414 NE 23rd Ave to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ

Dozens of people celebrated the birth of their savior on the weekend before Christmas. PASSAGE Family Church hosted “Christmas in the Park” at Oak Tree Academy located at 1414 NE 23rd Ave. to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with songs, dancing and prizes. The academy is operated by PASSAGE. The event was a drive-in concert on the field east of the academy to ensure that attendees socially distanced in their cars. Senior Pastor George B. Dix, co-pastor and co-founder of the church with his wife Lady Michele Dix, said the church normally hosts the Christmas cantata in the sanctuary but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, coordinators scheduled the celebration to be hosted outside.
