Two days after capturing the program s first ASUN Conference title, the Liberty women s cross country team made more history on Sunday. They became the Flames first cross country team (men s or women s) ever selected to compete in the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships.
Liberty will be one of 31 women s squads which toe the starting line at the 2020 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships. The 6K race will be contested on March 15 at 12:50 p.m. Eastern at the Oklahoma State Cross Country Course in Stillwater, Okla. The race will be televised live on ESPNU, with coverage beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Liberty senior Payton Keiner has been selected to compete in the 2021 NCAA Division I Women s Swimming & Diving Championships.
The 2021 NCAA Division I Women s Swimming & Diving Championships will be hosted at Greensboro Aquatic Center, March 17-20 in Greensboro, N.C.
Keiner will be making her second appearance at the NCAA Championships, as she competed in the 100 and 200 backstroke at nationals as a freshman in 2018. Keiner was selected to compete at the 2020 NCAA Division I Women s Swimming & Diving Championships, but the meet was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
