Liberty Women's XC Team Qualifies for NCAA National Meet for 1st Time

Two days after capturing the program's first ASUN Conference title, the Liberty women's cross country team made more history on Sunday. They became the Flames' first cross country team (men's or women's) ever selected to compete in the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships.
Liberty will be one of 31 women's squads which toe the starting line at the 2020 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships. The 6K race will be contested on March 15 at 12:50 p.m. Eastern at the Oklahoma State Cross Country Course in Stillwater, Okla. The race will be televised live on ESPNU, with coverage beginning at 12:30 p.m.
