Gucci? Balenciaga? The Big Fashion Collaborations We Never Saw Coming!

You must have heard about the recent collaboration between Gucci and Balenciaga given that it was all over every timeline that you occupy. These two fashion icons came together for Gucci’s new show, “Aria”, which celebrated the brand’s centennial anniversary. Designer Alessandro Michele celebrated the legacy of the powerhouse label by paying homage to the design aesthetic created by its founder Guccio Gucci, and also, of Michele’s storied predecessors like Tom Ford.

Michele also leaned into fellow Kering brand, Balenciaga, by merging their signature styles into each look. This collection was a lesson in the label’s history but also provided a unique take on the present.
