Fuel prices hiked across metros, petrol crosses Rs 93 in Delhi ANI

New Delhi: After a gap of two days, petrol and diesel prices again witnessed a minor hike across the metros on Friday.
In Delhi, petrol prices went up by 19 paise from 92.85 per litre on May 19 and reached 93.04 per litre while the diesel prices have gone up by 29 paise from Rs 83.51 per litre to Rs 83.80 per litre.
The rates of petrol and diesel are the highest in Mumbai. In Mumbai, the petrol prices saw an increase of 18 paise and are at Rs 99.32 per litre while diesel rates saw a surge of 30 paise and it is now being sold at Rs 91.01 per litre.
Petrol price has already crossed Rs 100-mark in many cities in Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh, and with Sunday s increase, rates in Mumbai too are inching towards the psychological mark
The current rate of petrol and diesel in the national capital stood at Rs 92.58 per litre and Rs 83.22 respectively. Earlier, the rate of petrol was recorded to be 92.34 per litre and the price of diesel stood at 82.95 per litre in Delhi.

A litre of petrol in Mumbai now comes for ₹98.88 and diesel is priced at ₹90.40 per litre Petrol price on May 16 was increased by 24 paise per litre and diesel by 27 paise, pushing rates across the country to record highs and that of petrol in Mumbai to near ₹99 a litre.
Petrol price in Delhi was increased to Rs 90.99 per litre from Rs 90.74 while diesel rates went up to Rs 81.42 a litre from Rs 81.12, according to a price notification by state-owned fuel retailers.
