(MENAFN - Jordan News Agency) Amman, Feb. 14 (Petra) The Ministry of Health on Sunday announced that the COVID-19 vaccination campaign in the Zaatari Syrian refugees camp will begin in two days.
In a press statement, the Ministry said that the campaign is part of the emergency response plan to contain the coronavirus pandemic, to protect Syrian refugees in camps and those who reside in Jordan by curbing the spread of the virus, especially for the targeted groups that the Ministry identified as a priority in the first phase.
The move also aims at ensuring that the standards of equal respect are met and justice is achieved between citizens, residents and refugees in the Kingdom, the statement added.
