Gabonese defender to stay with BFC Gabonese defender to stay with BFC Bangalore Mirror Bureau / Updated: Jul 4, 2021, 06:14 IST Gabonese defender Yrondu Musavu-King (in pic) has signed a two-year deal with Bengaluru Football Club. The 29-year-old was on a short-term contract. Yrondu Musavu-King made his debut for BFC against the Tribhuvan Army FC in the AFC Cup Preliminary Stage Two clash last season and is the club’s first foreign acquisition ahead of the new season. Musavu-King has featured at the international level with Gabon, making his debut in a 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Congo, and has turned out clubs in Europe’s top divisions like Granada, Udinese, Lorient and Toulouse, among others. The Libreville-born centre-back said he was excited and looking forward to the new season.

AFC Cup 2021 Sports Correspondent 7th April, 2021 11:04:21 Bangladesh Premier League Champions Bashundhara Kings will take on Dhivehi Premier League (Maldives) champions Maziya Sports and Recreation Club in their first Group D (South Asia Zone) match of AFC Cup 2021 on May 14 at National Football Stadium in Maldives.   Kings will face the winners of play-offs South Asia on May 17 while they take on Indian Super League team ATK Mohun Bagan on May 20, both at the same venue.   Dhaka Abahani Ltd will play Club Eagles from Maldives in their qualifying play-offs (preliminary round 2) on April 14 in Dhaka.    Indian club Bengaluru Football Club will play the other match against Nepal Army on the same day.
