In August 2020, the News Journal reported that two local restaurants had secured leases to become a part of the shopping center, but on Monday, Maxey said those two restaurants have since backed out. Confirmed tenants are currently navigating the permitting and design process, and soon should start opening up one by one. We turned the spaces over to the tenants about two weeks ago, Maxey said. Hopefully they ll start building their spaces out and opening, hopefully, in the late spring or early summer.
As for the new Publix, it will feature most of the standard departments and services, including a pharmacy, a drive-thru pharmacy and an option to order bakery cakes online.
