The Boonville Oneida County Fair is on this year.
“Plans are a go,” said David Hyatt, president of the fair board of directors Tuesday morning. “I’ll know more down the road.”
The decision on the Boonville Oneida County Fair came a day after Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced additional guidance for county fairs and local festivals.
Cuomo’s new guidance states:
Local governments must permit county fairs and local festivals.
State department of health approval is required for events of over 5,000 attendees.
Capacity limits are based on space available to maintain social distancing, unless attendees provide proof of full vaccination status.
