DIBRUGARH: Police on Monday nabbed 3 Ulfa (Independent) linkmen from Bordumsa area in Tinsukia district. The trio have been identified as Grisup Phukan from Borhollong, and Dhanya Saikia and Bijoy Dubey from Bordumsa.
The police recovered two pistols, 14 rounds of ammunition, along with Rs 23,000 cash and two mobile phones from their possession. Margherita sub-divisional police officer (SDPO), Puna Gogoi, said a case has been registered at Bordumsa Police Station against the trio under Section 120 (b),121, 121 (a),123 and 393 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), Section 25 of the Arms Act 1959 and 10/13 of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA)1967.
