சந்திரகிரகணம் ஆரம்பித்த நேரத்தில் ஓம் க்ரீம் என்று வரையப்பட்ட கோலத்தில் அகோரிகள் உடல் முழுக்க திருநீறு பூசிக்கொண்டு தலையில் அக்னிசட்டியுடன் அமர்ந்து சிறப்பு பூஜைகள் நடத்தினர்.
