Testin Maps Out Next Steps After Mill Bill Veto By Mike Leischner

MADISON, WI (WSAU) State Senator Patrick Testin says it’s still disappointing that Governor Tony Evers issued a veto for the Mill Bill late last week, but he’s not letting that get in the way of finding another solution to re-open two idled paper facilities in Wisconsin Rapids and Park Falls.
“This really was one of the last lifelines these communities had for these mills,” said Testin on Friday. “Unfortunately, at the 11th hour the Governor cut the cord. So next steps moving forward, we are going to be exploring any and all options that are viable.”
