Rutherglen Care Home was revealed to have the highest figure, accounting for 29 deaths in total. Across Scotland, almost 3400 care home residents died from the virus. An inquiry to examine the Scottish Government s handling of the pandemic is expected to go underway before the end of the year.

Rita Ann Good Rita Ann Good, age 62. Formerly of Goring Heath, passed peacefully at the Royal Berkshire Hospital on 12th January. Much loved daughter of Walter, Sister of Teresa, sister-in-law of Bryan, Aunt to Helen, Alison, Celia, Maria and their families. Funeral to take place Friday, 29th January at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Henley at 10 am. Burial at Whitehill Cemetery, Goring at 11.30 am. Family flowers only, Donations if desired to M S Centre, Reading. The service will be livestreamed. Agnes Dudgeon Agnes Dudgeon passed away peacefully at Parkside Care Home on 17th January 2021 aged 92 years. Much loved mum to Andrew, Bernadette and Robert. Little nanna to Samantha and Kirsty and great little nanna to Tiah. Funeral service to be held at English Martyrs Church followed by a burial. Flowers are welcome.
